What does "2460" mean?
24 hours × 60 minutes. The name is a reminder that Scripture can meet you at any moment of the day.
How does the time-to-verse mapping work?
Each minute of the day is mapped to one or more Bible verses by matching the hour and minute to a book's chapter and verse number. For example, 11:30 maps to Genesis 11:30. When no exact match exists, the app shows a random verse from its pool.
Which devices are supported?
Bible 2460 is a universal app for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. All 10 Bible translations are bundled with the app. It works fully offline.
Can I use one language for the interface and another for the Bible text?
Absolutely. The interface language and Bible language are independent settings. You can use any of the 10 UI languages with any of the 10 Bible translations.
Is Bible 2460 free?
The app is free to download with core features including the widget, time-matched verses, and full offline support.
What Bible translations are included?
Ten public domain translations: KJV (English), CUV (Simplified Chinese), UNV (Traditional Chinese), Kougo (Japanese), Korean, Luther1912 (German), Ostervald (French), Riveduta (Italian), Thai, and RV1909 (Spanish).
Does the widget drain my battery?
The widget refreshes its timeline periodically and uses minimal resources. The in-app "Keep Screen On" feature may use more battery — you'll see a warning when your battery drops below 20%.
